We, DIAMANT Polymers Inc. are proud to be officially part of DIAMANT Polymer GmbH as of January 1, 2025. This acquisition not only strengthens our position in the North American market, but also expands our production capabilities for select products. DIAMANT Polymer GmbH, based in Germany, pursues a clear vision: innovative polymer systems that set new standards and maintain values worldwide. Carsten Kunde, Managing Director of DIAMANT Polymer GmbH, explains: “North America is one of the key markets of the future for us. We want to further expand our leading technologies here locally and offer future-proof solutions.”
Our high-performance polymer products
As part of the DIAMANT Group, we rely on a range of polymer systems that are used in various industries to seal surfaces, repair defects and support structures. Our products are primarily used in foundries, thermal spray operations and construction to minimize downtime, maintain long-term value and reduce operating costs. The acquisition expands our ability to offer these advanced solutions in North America.
Focus on dichtol and MM1018
We are focusing on the sale of dichtol – a low-viscosity polymer that is ideal for the infiltration, impregnation and sealing of porous layers in additively manufactured components (3D printing) and workpieces. We would also like to expand our portfolio to include polymer composite materials for the repair of cast parts. Another highlight is our MM1018 – The Liquid-Shim®, an innovative two-component reactive resin system that is used in steel and bridge construction for force-fit tolerance compensation.
Plans for local production in the USA
But we are going even further. In addition to expanding our sales activities, we are planning to set up production of selected products directly in the USA. Carsten Kunde explains: “For us, sustainable business means shortening transportation routes and supply chains as much as possible. That’s why we focus on producing, storing and distributing our products locally as quickly as possible. This not only reduces CO₂ emissions, but also benefits the local economy.” This decision also allows us to respond even more specifically to the specific requirements and needs of our North American customers.
Our participation in trade fairs in North America
In order to bring our products and solutions even more into the focus of the industry, we will be attending several important trade fairs in the USA and Canada in the coming months:
– April 8-10, 2025 | RAPID & TCT 2025, Detroit, USA
– April 12-15, 2025 | CastExpo 2025, Atlanta, USA
– May 05-08, 2025 | ITSC 2025, Vancouver, Canada
– July 13-16, 2025 | International Bridge Conference, Pittsburgh, USA
We look forward to showcasing our innovative polymer system solutions and continuing to build close partnerships with our North American customers and partners.
